I know she's your mom but you & your mom are two different people. You two have some of the same genes but you have genes from your father as well. It is wrong for you or anyone else to compare you to your mom or to anyone else. Be the best YOU & stop focusing so much on what your mother was. Do what is comfortable for you. If you want to play sports, play sports or take up what you enjoy. Eat a balanced diet, spend time with friends.

First, your mother might be shorter than you and/or be of slighter frame. There could be many reasons why she used to be a size 3.
Don't worry about it...in fact, a size 6-7 is great. Since you are a cheerleader and dancer, I am sure you are fit. I think females tend to concentrate way too much on dress size and weight. Overall fitness is a much better indicator of health. For example, a fit woman with a larger frame may hover at a size 8-10. This may be perfectly fine for that person..and size 6 would be too small and the person might look anorexic..at that size..which is never good. Conversely, a healthy petite woman could be a size 2 normally and a size 6 would be too big for her. It really depends on your body frame, metabolism, height, and several other factors. So, please do not worry about your size...I am sure it is perfectly fine.
In addition, bulimia is a serious health condition. Please try to seek help because bulimia can cause throat problems, liver or kidney failure, etc. See the link below for the possible negative consequences.

Well, first being a size 6-7 is not at all chubby, but very slim. As you are bulemic, you may well have a distorted body image and not even realise you are probably very thin indeed. Also being your size is not twice the size of your mother. The difference in inches between a size 3 and a size 6-7 is about 2 inches, so it's really not worth worrying about. But you may have a different shape than your mum and although she may look good as a size 3, you may well look better at a size 6-7. Please don't worry about it. Take care : )

You have two parents so maybe you took after your dad's make up. I think a size 6/7 is awesome. I use to be that size before my youngest child I have two kids now I am wearing a size 10 and the things that I thought looked good 2 years ago look great now,I think if your stomach is flap not over lapping the top of your jeans and your thighs don't rub you have nothing to worry about. Just maintain your wieght I am sure you look good. :-)

As cliche as it may sound, everyone (and every "body") is different: different muscle to fat ratio, different bone structure, different metabolism, different height, etc.
Ever thought about getting some help for your eating disorder? Perhaps it would help you see your body accurately, because a size 6-7 is still thin and possibly in a healthy weight range for your height. A size 3 may be underweight for your body type. Bulimia is a serious disease and one that may be affecting your metabolism. It is truly in your best interest to seek help.

You should seek medical attention right away. Bulimia can cause several other health problems. Your weight won't matter as much when you lose your teeth or get ulcers. Your hair can fall out and your skin can get really dry. You could also die.
Talk to your mother. She cares about you she'll take you to the doctor and get you some counseling.

well, body metabolism really varies from person to person.
it could have been that you got that from you fathers side.
you're cheerleader so it means you must be really great... its okay to be a size six!
but if it bothers you that much, try out different kinds of sports, like your mother used to do.

Do charity work, join a church, study your bible, especially the part about vanity, and get over yourself.
