No. The Book of Revelation was written in approximately 96 AD, many years after John the Baptist was beheaded. The apostle John was the one who saw the vision.

the first person is right... it was John the apostle not John the baptist
interestingly the book , the last book of the Bible, was given on a Sunday
interestingly, Jesus did many things with a smaller group of disciples Peter James and John. Peter the leader of the church, James the first to die and John (the apostle)... the last to die and lived the longest
interestingly John (the apostle) does not mention his own name in his own book but appears all over the place. With John the Baptist, at the last supper, in the high priests house and at the cross, at the resurection..... Luke never mentions his own name either in Luke or acts... its a humility thing
interestingly John the apostle although he knew Jesus well as he walked on earth, fell as if dead when he saw Jesus in his glory and more as if full strength!!!!!

No, John The Baptist was killed earlier than revelation was written. Traditionaly this John is concidered to be John The Apostle. but it is not known for certain who this John was.

No it was Saint John apostle
He was stuck in a cave on an island in the Aegean (Patmos) after being exiled there for spreading the word of god and that's where he had his revelation if I'm not mistaken.

There was a lot of John's no pun intended.
Just like there was like a bunch of peters. God this sounds horrible. but you know what I mean. They were like two seperate people. Why is the apostles names bad words?
