I'm not a parent, I am a college student. Kids my age are over-privileged and spoiled. We look forward to cars for our 16th-18th birthday and tuition covered because a trust fund was set aside when we were born. Money given or wired to us when we are low. Me, personally, I got a car when I was 16, it wasn't brand new, it was an older family car and I have to work for my money and I'm taking out good old fashioned student loans. But I am still more spoiled than children 20+ years ago.

Kids think everything should be handed to them on a silver platter. Kids are not responsible for their actions. We parents do way to much for them. Then are kids do not know how to make it in the real world. In the quest for them not to go through, what we went through. We have raised a spoiled rotten generation.
