Gulf Air have a particular reputation for excellence in this area. Not only do they have Flight Attendants but they also have Sky Nannies who are employed to specifically look after and entertain the kids on board. They also often have deals where kids fly free, you only pay for the adults ticket!

I was in the industry and I HATE Southwest, cattle call...um, no thanks...737's....thats a BIG no!!! I have to say Virgin Atlantic definately, and I worked for one of the major carriers in the US.

Hello! I flew Lufthansa (German) a few years ago, and they handed out postcards and kids toys to children, also magazies on fussball were given on the shorter flights.

I remember the time I was a kid, I was petrified, and the people on the plane gave you stuff to do and asked about you. It was great!
