Don't hate yourself. You're gorgeous. Okay the fastest way to lose weight is by cardio. And having a clean BALANCED diet. Do not DO NOOT starve yourself! You'll gain all the weight back plus 4 more lbs (I know this from research and experience). Okay food was made to give us energy and nutrients. If you're eating special k thinking it'll benefit you it really won't, you're eating sugar and other weird stuff. You won't believe how fast you'll lose weight if you're eating all vegetables fruit and organic grass fed meat. You can have fruit but never after lunch. Te key to weight loss is high fiber foods so invest in some sugar wheat and gluten free fiber gummies. Food is not the enemy! Processed food and sugar is. If we consume more than a teaspoon of sugar our body goes into a diabetic state and your insulin levels raise. Use stevia or xylitol only! did I mention if you eat pure food you don't have to count calories?! A couple fiberfilled foods I eat and love: -spaghetti squash -sweet potatoes -butternut squash (super good as a soup) -canned pumpkin sooo good with cinnamon! There are plenty more! I hope this helped good luck!

I had braces as an adult - just had them off 1.5 years ago, and initially I must admit - I did not eat much and most was very soft or through the juicer - so did I loose weight - yes - not dramatically - but did it come back - yes.
Once my mouth got used to the braces and after each adjustment, I was eating normally as before.

I had them when I was a teen-ager. And yes it did, because I couldn't eat any candy or sweets--not with the braces they had in the 1960's. Also I had to brush after every time I ate, which made me want to eat less, so I wouldn't have to brush so much.
So that's the reason I lost weight.

No. They are only sore when they get tightened. You'll still be able to eat. Even if you couldn't chew, there are loads of calories in milkshakes and ice cream. Think of all the chubby kids walking around with metal mouths.

well, you may eat less because of the uncomfortableness of it all, & you can't eat certain things while wearing braces, including candy & some junk foods...try it, this is the time to go on a diet!
