Well where I live in the South East you have Chessington World of Adventures, Thorpe Park and Lego land which are all hugely popular attractions. You also have Windsor Safari Park, Leeds Castle (which is in Kent not Leeds), Warwick Castle (in Coventry but that's a bit further up!) and a bit further south you have Stonehenge which is a major attraction. It was built by druids apparently thousands of years ago. Cheddar Gorge is near somerset and it's a beautiful place. They have caves there and it's amazing. There's loads because as you know the UK has lots of history to it and the obvious tourist attractions are in London but you will know about them I'm sure. Hope this helps a little. If you could add further info about where you are going in particular IE. south east, south west etc or a town then I could help a bit more as there are hundreds of places to choose from. Good luck!

Beaulieu Motor Museum, Beaulieu, Hampshire
Beaulieu in Hampshire is home to the International Autojumble, one of the most spectacular events held at this legendary destination. Recognised as being the largest outdoor sale of motoring items for European cars and motorcycles this side of the Atlantic, it is no wonder over 31,000 attend this unique event in the New Forest.
If you and your family are seeking a unique alternative to the traditional seaside break, look no further than Brighton. Full of life, it is a city that excites all ages and offers non stop entertainment throughout the day.
There are numerous attractions to visit when out and about in Brighton including the Sea Life Centre, which examines the wonderful and mysterious world of marine life. Or you can witness the grandeur and excess of the Royal Pavilion, Brighton’s answer to Buckingham Palace. When in town the Sand Sculpture Festival is also a must see recreating some of the most famous buildings from around the globe with simply sand and water. This year the focus is on The Roman Empire so you can find yourself walking around the Colosseum and Pantheon without even leaving the country!
If you prefer a more relaxing day then there is again plenty of options open to you. Why not head down to the beach and relax in a deckchair whilst your children enjoy the excitement of the sea or make a splash in the beachfront paddling pool. Alternatively you could explore the Pier, one of Brighton’s most famous landmarks, which has rides, stalls, restaurants and bars. There is also a fantastic shopping scene which includes the 17th century Lanes, an eclectic mix of one off shops and boutiques.
With all the focal points being so close together, finding your way around the city centre doesn’t prove too challenging and you can manage to do several activities within a day. Should you wish for more speedy progress then you can try one of the new Tuc-tucs that can be found in Brighton. Launching in July the fleet of Tuc-tucs will be Europe’s first and you will find each vehicle adopts a different theme ranging from Strawberry to Valentine. Or alternatively you could take a trip on the Volks Railway, Britain’s oldest electric railway which runs, every 15 minutes, along the top of the beach.
Brighton really is a destination that offers something for everyone, no matter what your taste or age. The above is just a few examples of what is possible but you will find that with Brighton there is always so much more to explore.

Enjoy a Safari Adventure at Woburn Safari Park and enjoy the beauty of wild animals in real close up! A family experience and a full day out. Tour the reserves from the safety of your own car and experience the thrill of being alongside white rhino, buffalo, giraffe or looking into the chilly eyes of one of our Siberian Tigers. The excitement continues on foot in our Leisure Park with indoor and outdoor adventure playgrounds, walkthrough areas with wallabies, squirrel monkeys and lemurs and a full programme of keeper talks and demonstrations ( don’t miss the sea lions or the penguins!) Situated at the heart of the attractive Georgian village The Inn at Woburn has been a welcome sight for travellers for nearly three centuries. Opened in 1724 as a coaching inn it was a popular stop for Royal Mail stages travelling between London and the North. The hotel has been recently renovated and refurbished to maintain its character and charm, whilst ensuring its facilities meet the demands of today’s guest. Few hotels blend the traditions of the 18th century so effortlessly with modern comforts. The Inn has 50 en-suite bedrooms with interiors designed to complement the nature of the hotel and its individual setting. Across the courtyard, there are 7 charming individual cottages which are available for guests. The informal atmosphere of the Inn, coupled with the excellent location for sightseeing or leisure activities, make this a perfect base for a long weekend or well-earned break
Set in a beautiful 3,000 acre deer park, Woburn Abbey has been the home of the Russell Family for nearly 400 years and is now occupied by the 15th Duke of Bedford and his family. Built on the site of a Cistercian Monastery founded in 1145, the Abbey was given to the 1st Earl of Bedford in the will of Henry VIII. The Abbey was rebuilt during the 17th century with further redesigning and rebuilding work completed by Henry Flitcroft and later Herny Holland in the 18th century. It houses one of the most important private art collections in the world including paintings by Gainsborough, Reynolds, Van Dyck and Cuyp. Woburn Abbey is also the setting for the origin of “Afternoon Tea”, a social tradition introduced in the 1840’s by Anna Maria, wife of the 7th Duke, when she entertained her friends in the Blue Drawing Room. There are extensive informal gardens to stroll around, a fine Antiques Centre with 65 individual shops within a fascinating 18th century setting and the Flying Duchess Pavilion where refreshments and light meals are served.
