All illegal immigrants need to be rounded up and sent back to wherever they came from. Now before anyone says anything, I am not some Southern Redneck who wants to keep America for the Americans. No, I am an immigrant living in the U.S. I came here from England. But the difference is, I did everything legal. I cam here on a 90-day visa and before that time was up I paid my money and filed my case and in a very short period of time I became a legal U.S. Resident. I didn't come here and drive a taxi or work as a busboy and completely stick two fingers up to the system. I'm not committing a criminal act everyday purely by virtue of my existence. Illegal immigrants are criminals and should be treated accordingly. Being in a country illegally is a crime just like stealing something or shooting somebody. Criminals should be brought to justice. I'm sick of everyone going on mass marches to allow Hector and his 12 cousins and 42 children or Gupta and his chain of 18 family members who all help him run his corner shop stay in this country. The Government constantly talks about Homeland Security yet we do not even know who is walking the streets of our Cities. How about we stop trying to clean up the streets of Kabul and Baghdad and we instead worry about cleaning up the streets of Chicago and New York and LA. As for the INS they are a joke. Even when you hand them an illegal immigrant on a plate they don't get off their butt to do anything. Legal immigration is a great thing. Illegal immigrants are scum.

As you don't mention if you are legal or not and I don't want to aid or abet an illegal, I will only say that where there is a will, there is a way.
If you are illegal you have taken the wrong way. Start doing things the right way. If you want to come to our country and you can speak English as well as you write it, you are willing to swear aligance to the US and to obey our laws; you may be a welcomed addition to the American way of life. The longer you are here illegally, the worse things will be for you.
You need to do some things differently.
You figure out what that is.

Find a Job, and try to do all the paper work i have to do with the Immigration Office. Remember there's different types of immigration, i mean all depends how you come to the USA, If you come as a "mojado" then is a bad start, because USA is not supporting this kind of immigration, if it is thru the Golf of Mexico (i.e. Cubans in boats), if they touch the American ground without help of the USA Guardians than they are allowed to stay, also...Cubans have this thing called "El Bombo" is like a lottery that USA made for cubans, they give away 2.000 VISAS a year, they help cubans with everything they need when they move to the USA until they are settled. Ok...I hope this answer your question. = )

Two options:
(i)if not married, marry a legal or citizen thereby get green card. If this is not possible, try the various avenues possible as described in the DHS site www. uscis.gov (e.g. assylum/refugee, etc) OR if all fails

(ii)Get an immigration attorney. Immigration Law in the United States, at the federal and state levels, is very complex, with endless subtleties, gray areas, and nuances. Laws, and their applications, change and are subject to refinements, definitions, and interpretations through regulations, court decisions, memos, and policies.
These guys may be able to assist you

IF ALL FAILS, say "Jesus Christ, help me!" Believe it and wait!!

Well, the right thing to do is to stay legal. Maybe hire an attorney that specializes in immigration law and do what you can to become a citizen. Maybe join the United States military which can allow for a speedy process of becoming a US citizen.

Break the law. Get welfare. Send my children to free school. Get free health care at the expense of American taxpayers. Gripe and moan that Americans need to learn Spanish. Hold protests that all Americans are racist. Break the law some more. Drive without a drivers license. Collect S.S.I. funds that I have no business getting since I am illegal. The list goes on and on.

Hide right out in the open since the Border Patrol and the police are not enforcing the current laws.
I'd stay out of trouble and apply for welfare and all that because there is no check obviously. Send my kids to the best school, public, that I can find so they can get the benefit of the schooling that the citizens pay for.

What would I do? I would keep to myself, and stay quiet. I would damn sure not march through the streets DEMANDING anything. Then again, I have some common sense, something the illegals are sorely lacking. How are you going to piss off the very people you want to help you, then expect to be welcomed with open arms?

Get a job and keep my mouth shut, and try to find someone to sponsor me, Learn the language as fast as possible, and study about the country so I could be prepared, and do the things other people are doing, you no when in Rome. and I would not be waving the flag of the country I fled from that's for dam sure.

I'm not sure what I would actually do, but what I should do is contact authorities to see if there were a way I could enter this country legally. Every country in the world has laws which were enacted regarding citizenship. You don't just slip across a border and expect to be treated like a citizen.
