16 Important Facts About Jews, Arabs and Israel

1. Israel became a state circa 1030 B.C., more than two millennia before
Islam.

2. Arabs from Israel first began to be called "Palestinians" in 1967 by
Yasser Arafat and other Arab leaders, two decades after modern Israeli
statehood.

3. After conquering the land in about 1250 B.C., Jews ruled it for more
than 1,300 years and have maintained a continuous presence there for 3,300
years.

4. For over 3,000 years, Jerusalem was the Jewish capital. It was never
the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. Even under Jordanian rule,
(East) Jerusalem was not made the capital, and no Arab leader came to
visit it.

5. Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 times in the Bible, but not once is it
mentioned in the Qur'an.

6. King David founded Jerusalem; Mohammed never set foot in it.

7. Jews pray facing Jerusalem; Muslims face Mecca. If they are between the
two cities, Muslims pray facing Mecca, with their backs to Jerusalem.

Not all answers are directly proportionate to every question. But first, the Anatomy of a question must be examined.

What is a "question?" This is weird because one is forced to use the very entity being examined to examine the question of what a question is. This is an indication that there is something lacking in man's logic or his communication systems or both or something else.

The answer is within the answer...never the question. For if we answer before we are even asked, the answer is already there; isn't it? The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind, the answer is blowin' in the wind.

Hope you got your answer because I am not answering any more questions in this context nor am I questioning you further.

Ok first off that is only 7 facts. And, by your logic, the descendants of the people who lived in Jherico before the Jews arrived there should have final claim on the land. And guess who they are? THE ARABS!

Your information is flawed.............Israel did not have a modern state until 1967 (UN Partition Act), it was under British rule. Before that it was the Ottoman Empire. Jewish people did not live there in vast numbers until WWII in modern times.

I asked my boyfriend the same question once because it does not make sense, but that is how religion works. You cannot explain it. Another question to ask is, if both religions preach peace, why is peace the only thing they avoid? Perhaps it is because both sides are seeking what they feel is 100% theirs, there is no room for compromise. Which is horrible because the last thing that either diety seeks is war.

Because there is no logic in it. One thing I've learned in my 59 years is that people believe what they want to believe; what makes them feel good to believe, and presenting facts to them makes no difference. Everything you wrote is true, but it will make some people uncomfortable because it will challenge their accepted ideas and so they will deny it or say it doesn't matter or just not believe you. But I do.
