What do you have to do, believe, or sacrifice?

There is only 1 way to heaven, through Jesus Christ. You have to accept his gift of eternal life.
There is nothing you can do on your own. No sacrifice that is payment for sins.
God is a perfect God, heaven is a perfect place, no sin can enter into it. You have to be perfect to get to heaven, and nobody has lived a perfect life except Jesus.
The payment for sin is death, and Jesus has paid that for you if you will accept that fact. Your sins are forgiven, so his payment is HUGE!!!
The gift of God is eternal life, but as any "gift" it has to be received.

If heaven is real,I don't think it has anything to do with sacrifice or even belief.There is no wrong or right religion.I think it would all depend upon how you treated others while you were alive.Did you hurt people or did you help them?Did you try and lead a reasonably good life,not perfect,but at least somewhat decent?

Don't have the exact verses for all of these, but the "Christian checklist" goes like this: (1) Hear the Gospel, (2) Believe in the Gospel, (3) Confess Jesus Christ as the Son of God and your Savior, (4) Repent of your sins, (5) Be baptized, (6) From that point on, do your best to live in accordance with the will of God, and ask for His forgiveness when you fall short.

Both you must believe that God will deliver on his promise and to get there you must sacrifice your mortal soul for immortality in heaven. You're just visiting the earth but you're not from here if you truly belong in heaven.

You do not have to sacrifice anything. Jesus did that for you. He died on the cross for your sins. You need to accept Jesus Christ as LORD of your life. You need to repent of your sins and strive to live your life as Christ would. He loves us so much that He was willing to die in our place, paying for our sins. And He will walk with you every day as you learn to live as a Christian. And if you are sincerely sorry for your sins, He will forgive them. God bless you as you begin the most important walk of your life.

Believe and have faith that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins and was resurrected on the 3rd day. What we are giving up is our old life, our sinful life, turning from our wicked ways and changing our heart and trying daily to live the way God wants us to live. Will we be perfect then? No, we won't be, as we all sin daily no matter how hard we try. But, we can ask for forgiveness again and He is faithful to hear our prayers and forgive us.
The Bible says we come in faith, believing in Jesus Christ. A person could pray a prayer such as this one below, in faith believing God hears our prayers. But... a person should change the words to what they feel in their own heart. It doesn't have to be a written formal prayer. This is just an idea of what one would be like. It should always come from within the heart of the person praying it.
Dear God, I know that I am a sinner. I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me of all my sins. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead on the 3rd day, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus Christ into my heart to become the Lord of my life from this day forward. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

You have to BELIEVE that you are a sinner, that Jesus Christ is God and He can save you from your sins.
What you have to DO is accept Him as your Savior, and confess Him to someone.
Jesus did the SACRIFICING, but you have to sacrifice your life to Him.
