No!!!!!!! The same thing happened to me with my girlfriends mom. She didn't think I was right for her. Of course there were circumstances as my girlfriends husband had died 8 months prior to us meeting. But after 2 years her mom apologized and now treats me with respect. Your situation might be different. You didnt say how old you were or why they didnt think you are good enough. Good luck

I would not end a relationship with someone because his family does not think you are good enough for him. Your boyfriend wants to be with you so obviously you are good enough for him and that should be all that matters. I hope everything works out for you.

No I don't think you should end it with him. Don't take too much stock in what other people think. A relationship consists of you and him.... Not his mom, dad, sister, grandma, cousin ect. If he is happy with you and you are happy with him that is all that matters. Just be the best person you can be and that should be good enough.

Definitely not. As long as you're good enough to him & vice versa. You have lots of time to prove the family wrong.

Hang in there & Good luck!! =)

You are not dating his family, so that is the last thing you need to worry about, just try and do the right things, and later on they will see that you only have his interest at heart.

I been there and done that. But me and the guy broke up cause i was going to beat his mom. Anyways, if you really love the guy, stick with him. You just have to prove his family wrong, and that will totally get to them, trust me on that.

Are you in love, or do you see some qualities that you would consider of value long-term for both of you and a relationship, family, etc.

Consider that it is your future husband/partner you will settle down with, not your family.

Choose wisely...
