Ah, finally, someone has asked a question that I have been wanting to talk about for some time. OK. I have 2 current ideas on this so here goes nothing.
1) Your God. You can do anything you want. ANYTHING. And your going to be around FOREVER. Stop. What to do to fill in the time? Well he made angels and wherever it is that He exists. The angels have some free will apprently because some revolt there by creating the devil and his minions. I'm sure this was good for a while but even angels could get boring. So instead of controlling everything..... why not make something He DIDN'T control completely?
2) A second idea of mine is that, since it says we where made in God's image, that He is like us in some ways. Therefore I think that God could have been lonely. He made the angels to basically love him, yet that wasn't by free choice. Making completely free beings who could believe in Him or not, would be fulfilling if they did love Him unconditionally.

an straightforward argument from atheists and skeptics is that if all issues want a reason, then God also needs to need a reason. the end is that if God mandatory a reason, then God isn't God (and if God isn't God, then for sure there is no God). it truly is a quite extra state-of-the-artwork kind of the mandatory question “Who made God?” everybody knows that some thing does no longer come from no longer some thing. So, if God is a “some thing,” then He must have a reason, properly? The question is frustrating because it sneaks contained in the faux assumption that God got here from someplace and then asks the position which will be. the answer is that the question does no longer even make sense. it truly is like asking, “What does blue scent like?” Blue isn't contained in the category of issues which have a scent, so the question itself is fallacious. interior an similar way, God isn't contained in the category of issues that are created or led to. God is uncaused and uncreated—He in basic terms exists. How do all of us recognize this? all of us recognize that from no longer some thing, no longer some thing comes. So, if there have been ever a time at the same time as there became actually no longer some thing in existence, then no longer some thing would have ever come into existence. yet issues do exist. hence, in view that there ought to in no way were actually no longer some thing, some thing had to have continuously been in existence. That ever-latest component is what we call God. God is the uncaused Being that led to each and every thing else to go back into existence. God is the uncreated author who created the universe and each and every thing in it.

God was very insecure, and needed someone to tell him how great he was.
He first created the angels for this purpose, but decided that wasn't enough. He wanted to create another type of being that would also kiss his @ss, and that he could punish unjustly if they didn't kiss his @ss to his satisfaction.
So he created humanity.

Uh... why did God create us?... the Bible would say out of love. I would say, that He didn't create us. To answer your question, you need to answer the larger question of whether He did or not.
