My nine year old daughter got her hair cut by her stepbrothers. The only thing we could do was shave it. Please help!

She was at her dad's house and he shaved it. Would not have been my choice.

my daughter was at her friends house and they were playing like they were at a beauty salon and her friend cut her bangs all the way up to her hair line and only on the one side before the grandmother came in and stopped her. i was devastated. but when i tell people what happened they just laugh and say it happens all the time. so i spoke to my hairdresser when i went in to have her cut my daughters bangs to even them out and she said to help her hair grow faster, she recommended a protein spray twice a day and after about a month it really made a beautiful difference in the length as well as the healthy looking shine. and other than that youll just have to be extremely patient.

YOU shaved your daughter head? I trust the boys have shaved heads as well??? Probably a pixie cut from a salon would have been a better choice and perhaps a tad more observation and supervision. Can dismemberment and hospitalization be far in the future? I am NOT kidding. This is no laughing matter.

I agree with whoever said Vit. E and also put a good oil in it! Everyday masage her head with oil, it feels great and it will help her hair grow.
Definetly cover her head! Take her on a hat-only shopping spree.
After it grows a little, keep it tied at all times

unfortunately, u're going to wait for it to grow back naturally. u can try vitamins but i think that anything else would be a waste of money. have her wear a cute hat instead.
