Dunfermline in the St. Leger.

Like Greyt-morn said, it was Dunfermline in the 1977 St Leger.

She beat him by 1 and a half lengths, but he went on to reverse the form by winning the Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe two weeks, Dunfermline was fourth.

I believe it was the Queen's horse, Dunfermline, in the St leger during the 70's.
