OK here it goes... Just wondering if other people have the same problem I do... I have been divorced for some time now... I live in a small town that really doesn't have any place to go to meet people... I don't like to go places alone... So that doesn't help either... Most the people I know are married or into the bar scene... So I set at home wishing I had some one to do things with... Wishing there was a group somewhere out there to join in with.... Our town seems to be in the dark ages.... Dating.... Wow.... Can someone send Mr Right to my door....lol

Have you tried some of the dating sites, like eHarmony? Or maybe just joining groups on the net with people who share your interests? Maybe someone is nearby that you just haven't met yet! :)

Does you town have a local place where people can take dance classes? Or classes in general ? Thats the best way to meet people that are not really into the bar scene. Another good place is go to thy gym and sign up for classes there. Hope that helps. Good luck !!!

You have to get off your butt and make an effort. There is a slim chance Karma is going to drop Mr. Right on your front porch. If the bars are the only place then hit the bars.

There must be some groups or gatherings to go to in your town. If not, try a near by town. Look for any social gatherings. A place where you would have to talk to people. Force yourself out there. Or you could try mail order groom.

Hobby Time!
Do stuff you like to do, and find groups that do the same thing.
Even if they're a couple towns away....
Find Online groups for the same....
get your email on your profiles on answers for starters...

friendster
match
eharmony
If you have the financial resources, singles travel.
...and last but not least, move to a bigger city.

wow, i never lived in a small town b4 so i guess i can't give u the best advice, just try going out, even if it's 2 a bar, maybe church, a library, lol sorry i couldn't b more helpful, goodluck.

small towns are not easy to find that love of you life. Bars are not a good place inlees you want a drunk in you bed evry night. where can i finf your door? 37 m east coast usa

Your going to have to step out of your comfort zone, and live life a little more outside your box(home). I know its scary but you'll get the hang of it after a while. And it will open you to new experiences..

go somewhere in a weekend and go hunting for mr. right.even if it may be a long distance relashionship u'll still get 2 see him and talk 2 him.
