The new president of mexico already is pushing for our government for more immigrants from mexico to be admitted into the US,since when do we have to listen to leaders that have been nothing but failures and thrown their problems at this country,When we had unemployment troubles of our own,we didn't sent our unemployed to mexico or canada,Our president should grow some maracas if he doesn't have any and tell the mexican president to go to H E double hockey sticks.

They'd sure like to...good for us I guess they're not in any position to dictate anything. We don't need their sob stories, we don't need their drugs or whatever else it is they're selling, basically we don't really need em at all, what we DO need is some people in Congress to learn how to say 'no more' in spanish and 30 other languages, and start passing legislation that'll make it stick.

Legal immigration only, no more 'citizenship marriages' or other scams, and start sending people back that've overstayed their welcome etc. We've got our own poor, our own social problems, pollution, infrastructure overloads, basically the whole trip without any 'help'.

Also, about bush vs. mexico, I fully believe that one's not about 'maracas', it's about undue influence, payola, etc.
Someone with Mucho Dinero wants that border open. Well, we still live under a system of majority rule, and the majority thus far has spoken pretty clearly, 'no more illegal immigration', regardless of point-of-origin, to INCLUDE Mexico. Foreign aid is one thing, I support that, but what we've got going on now is a play for the Whole Enchilada, not just a couple bites off the edge.
People belligerently demanding entry into our country, standing in our streets and waving foreign flags, I support em giving voice to their views, especially in view of the fact that now many many MORE americans are becoming clearer on what those demands and views truly represent. But, we still don't have to cave to it. Nor do we have to tolerate idiots in office where they keep writing shoddy policy year after year after year, policies that end up costing this country billions upon billions, with no end in sight, policies that result in having people in our country who are patently against our country, are not good guests, and playing for every dime they can grab. Yes, we're being played, played for stupid, and it's time to write, call, stand on a streetcorner and proclaim to all and sundry that 'fun time' is over, time to pack it up and drag it back home.

In my view, this issue is not about race. It's about recognizing that the last 100 years have seen INSANE population growth, the kind of population growth that's already driven other countries under in terms of agricultural self-support. You keep hearing these guys yammering on about 'growth', well I say it's all good and fine, if you've got politicians that want to invite half of Guatemala to the US, fine, they can all go live at the guy's HOUSE, as long as he swears for their financial upkeep. Other than that, forget it. We gotta have some kind of standards, the laws regulating this stuff are already on the books, anti-corruption measures need to be applied to the whole thing to ensure that our enforcement peeps can someday see daylight. The muddier the laws are, the worse their jobs are.

Reform's not that hard, just takes a little honesty and common sense to realize that some things are unsustainable, as nice as they might be, ideals are something to strive toward, but at the end of the day, that's all they are is ideals. On earth, Mexico and other countries need to learn to support themselves. We can help, maybe, just can't do it FOR them...

I agree with you 100%. It makes me SICK seeing the president of mexico up here Demanding stuff from America. He's as BAD if not worse than the Illegals marching in our streets waving Mexican Flags demanding rights. Bush needs to sit down with the president of mexico and tell him Bluntly. Look we have to end this ILLEGAL BS. If you don't do something we will send you bills for ALL expenses in cured by the US government in dealing with these illegals. Be it Hospital Bills, cost of deportation, restitution for crimes committed by illegals ect.
