Who can say? If the "holographic universe" theory is correct -- that we live, not in a three-dimensional universe of matter and energy, but a two-dimensional one comprised of information, and the reality we perceive is actually a sort of "interference pattern" akin to a hologram -- than perhaps our two-dimensional, information-based consciousness will finally wing free of our bodies once they decompose, only to become embedded once again in another physical form....

We are not made of flesh, the body is made of flesh, muscles, bones, etc. But we are not the body we are inhabiting. We are the life force, the spirit soul, animating the body. Life means eternal spirit. There is nothing 'alive' about the body. The body is a bag of chemicals only, all of which can be either manufactured in the lab or procured from a cadaver. Yet, if anyone were to take all the constituents of a human body, put them in their proper places, proper ratios, etc, etc, no one in their right mind would believe this body was 'alive'. It would still lay there as the bag of chemicals it is.
For those who think the body is alive by itself without any need to mention the spirit soul: why has no scientist or doctor or anyone ever given life to a dead body? If this soul-less idea is scientific, then they should prove it in the lab. Make a living body from a dead one. It should be easy with all the medical knowledge we have. The reason that no one has done it is because there is more to life than the body. The body is a vehicle only, nothing more. The driver and occupier of the body is the eternal spirit soul, the spiritual energy of the Lord. Because the soul is eternal and the body is temporary, the soul must leave and find a new vehicle when the body is no longer viable. That leaving is what we call 'death'. In reality the body was never alive in the first place.
Even though no one has proven in a lab that the body is viable without a soul by bringing a dead body to life again, people with very little intelligence in the matter say there is no proof of the existence of the soul. By definition, the soul is spiritual in nature. This means the soul cannot be perceived by the senses and is therefore not measureable or perceivable by any instruments of today's sciences. But this in no way disproves the existence of the soul. What it means is that science today is not up to the task.
Proof of the soul's existence is possible by the process of self-realization. As the name implies self-realization means that the person receives self knowledge of his eternal existence. It is revealed by purification of consciousness to him/herself alone. Just as when you eat a meal and become satisfied, you know your own feelings of satisfaction, but no one else knows this. And to prove to someone else how you felt would be very difficult if not impossible. How do you measure your satisfaction? In the same way, self-realization is the science of knowing the self, the soul, through purification of consiousness. If a materialistic fool has no knowledge of self-realization or knowledge of the soul, this is not a proof of anything but their ignorance. The second chapter of the Bhagavad-gita gives more information than I could put here. So check that out at the link below.

soul is not flesh soul is spirit.
. A person who believes in reincarnation assumes responsibility for his own spiritual evolution through rebirth. He does not need priests, confessionals, and rituals to ward off damnation (all ideas, incidentally, that were not part of Jesus' teachings). He needs only to heed his own acts to himself and others. A belief in reincarnation eliminates the fear of eternal hell that the Church uses to discipline the flock. In other words, reincarnation directly undermines the authority and power of the dogmatic Church. No wonder reincarnation made the Defenders of the Faith so nervous.

It is not the flesh that is reincarnated. It is what is inside you, what makes you you. The soul is not the body, it is what leaves the body after you die. It is then reborn in a new body to live again.

These people actually cant tell you that there is no reincarnation because nobody knows what happens to our conciousness. The Bible is just an outdated theory. Reincarnation to me seems to be the most logical and reasonable form of an afterlife.

When we die our souls enter the Bardo of rebirth. Their actions when they confront their inner demons and the luminosity directs them to their next body. If you read the Tibetan book of the dead it explains it in great detail. However, a substantial knowledge of Buddhist philosophy is required to interpret this text correctly.
"This existence of ours is as transient as autumn clouds
To watch the birth and death of beings is like looking at the movements of a dance.
A lifetime is like a flash of lightning in the sky,
Rushing by, like a torrent down a steep mountain"

Humans do not reincarnate. We have one life on this earth. We determine where our immortal soul will spend eternity by choosing or denying Christ. If you choose Christ and repent of your sins, you will go to heaven. For Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father [heaven] but through Me." If you deny Christ, you can be assured of an eternity in hell. I pray you will choose Christ.

Our souls do not reincarnate.. in the book of Hebrews, it says "we are born but once, and then after that the judgement".. we only experience life on earth one time... where we go after wards is dependent upon our behavior while we are here...
