EVERYONE wants to leave, even the Bush administration.
The question is when.

If we leave now we will cause the death of thousands of innocent civilians. The ones that are trying to live free and peacefully will be slaughtered by the ones who want a militant Islamic government set up. We are winning, the media is only showing the negative and there for those people who are back stateside who believe everything they see on TV are making decisions on incomplete facts. We will leave, it would be sooner if the American people rallied around the government. Think about it, terrorists do see the news, and when they see all the petty protesting, it only straightens there resolve. There will be victory, all in due time. Then when Iraq is secure we can pull our troops out, honorably.

If we pull out before the job is done then this war will turn into another Viet Nam. Millions of their people were killed by the enemy when we pulled out of VN prematurely.
You're really not concerned with this war turning into another defeat for our country; but like other cut and runners you want us to lose this war.
We will not no matter how much whining you libtards generate. Iraq, Afghanistan and even Iran will be liberated and modernized. The middle east will be a better place for it and all you Bush bashers will be remembered as the biggest fools of the times.

Things are coming together in Iraq , Iraq has had its first Democratic election ,the Iraqi government has taken over formal control of the nation's military, a move seen as an important marker on the road to full Iraqi sovereignty. Good things are happening in Iraq ,The Democratic and Liberal controlled media just focus on the bad .... Here is a little of what else is going on..... http://www.goodnewsiraq.com/index2.htm

i think that what we are doing is protecting our nation from other countries trying to do another 9/11. Besides pulling our troops out in the middle of this battle will do two things bring more terrorism to our country and lose the respect or all other countries because we didn't stand behind our decision.

Oh dear Dreamweaver, if we can weave out a plan to hold a nation-wide referendum, maybe side by side with the November elections, you will find that majority of the people want to free the country from all military conflicts, especially Iraq, just from the day after the referendum!

This is nothing close to Vietnam, not even a little. If we leave now then all of our time we put in over there would be a waste. The Iraqis cant fight for themselves yet.

we need to leave those people be,we can't help them any more just cause they don't want our help, and i think that those that think is OK is because they are not leaving and suffering what the spouses of the soldiers suffer the fact that you take the care taker out of your house for a hole year is ridiculous ,yes yes ,we help help help, but who is helping the children's the mothers with 3 and 4 kids left behind waiting for any news from their loved ones.give a ******* brake lets help those that want to be help like the island of Cuba is right there they need us and they are not as crazy or fanatic or suicidal like the Iraqi people.

Viet Nam was no incident, pal. It dragged on for fifteen years. We don't have a government. What you mean is get those people out of there before more of them get wasted and wind up RUNNNING out of there. AGAIN.

Yes it is time. Possibly leave a much SMALLER contingency there for another several months but a large majority needs to be brought home.
