I see their huge cars going up and down the motorways pretending to be police vehicles - but I am not sure that they are part of the police force. Are they just pretending to put the fear of God into people doing more than 70mph on the motorway.

They do not have the power of a police officer. They are there to keep traffic flowing. To attend incidents and assist people who have broken down. I have no doubt they will report to the police any thing interesting.

the only power they have so far is to be able to close a road down if needed.

they will soon be given police powers in realation to traffic laws ie breath sample and reporting for summons. a civilian custodian will recieve prisoners for d and d . this is the governments way of reducing the police force and incorporating it into soca as a small investigative and reactive force.

pcso will become the new police force and serving officers are to formulate tactical aid type policing ie for soc arrests.

the police are being down sized . this is what labour do. they dont even give them a god pay rise rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant rant

No - watch the Reps over take them, with no fear. Me I treat them with respect and keep safe and legal, just in case.
