Two Formal outfits for formal night. Also if you are eating in the dining room you will need casual dress clothes. They do not allow tank tops, shorts or t-shirts in the formal dining room. For the rest of the cruise just pack what you would wear during the summer. If you are cold natured take a light jacket but I do not thin you will be cold. Pack a swimsuit and make sure you pack good walking shoes for your shore excursions.

I've been to many cruises. You need more than two dressy outfits. First night, is the Captain's Ball. The last is the Farewell Party where there is an array of beautiful displays of flowers and figures, sculptures. All the things on the table are all edible. Every evening for dinners is a formal setting. You pay separately for all your alcholic drinks. You can buy a bottle of wine and they will store it for you and bring it out to your table. Now, if you don't want to go for these formal dinners . You can wait for the midnight buffet;where you can dress casually.
For all other days, wear comfortable clothes. Bring outfits that don't need ironing. They have iron in the cruise ship. Depending on the time of the year, you're going to the cruise; casual shorts, tank tops, pants or skirts. Bring your bathing suit. Bring med (Dramamine ) for seasickness. Or wear the patch behind your ears.Bring about three pairs of shoes. Bring your camera. You might want to preserve the memory. If you have kids with you; they have activities just for the kids. For shore excursions, you have to pay for those side trips. .
Lots of Vegas style evening shows, movies, and all the bars for dancing . There's a casino in the ship. . They have a spa and steam room and a gymn. All of these facilities are free. They have two swiming pools one with salt water, the other is fresh. They have dancing lessons, shuffleboard, and aerobic classes.
For meals , there is breakfast or you can have room service for a continental breakfast. Then there's lunch and another snacks late afternoon. All informal meals including the midnight buffets are served a la buffet style. Hoping the ship you're taking might have a pizza place where they stay opened till very late. One thing for sure, you'll have plenty of foods to eat.

during the day, shorts and a t-shirt (or the female eq ) is fine. for dinner, no jeans, shorts or t-shirts in the dining room. For shore excursions, it all depends on what you are doing. I usually wear shorts and a t-shirt and carry the swim wear.

Take the lightest, crush-proof things that you own. The cabins are really tiny, so take the minimum. You are bound to buy stuff when you go ashore, as well. You can get more tips here -
