Do you believe a person can be a faithful follower of more than one religion without denying any of the foundational doctrines of that religion? What's compatible?

I know there are incompatabilities between religions (and within various branches of each) but I am refering to the foundational issues. Using one illustration of Christianity as an example, church services on Saturday versus Sunday is not a foundational issue.

it depends on how deep into the religion you get. many religions, on the surface, work pretty much the same way, and teach the same things. but each shows its differences once you become more deeply immersed in the doctrine.

A person can faithfully follow any religion that worships God. Deviation from set rules of a faith is not as important as the worship to God. All the religions worshipping God are compatible with some deviations. Christians, Jews and Muslims all pray to the same God.
The biggest difference? Christians believe that God has a partner and needs a mediator/interpreter for prayer, Jews believe that Jesus was just a teacher and doesn't accept him as a prophet, and finally Muslims believe Jesus was a prophet but God has no equal or partner. The biggest similarity is all believe that God is the Greatest.
"Now can we all just get along?"

If you were to examine all the worlds religions, you would find that there are many similarities in all of them. They all have generally the same messages. I think that the problem comes when people read these texts too literally. These texts were written in anagrams so that they could survive throughout the ages. So, we all just need to get to the kitchen and re-arrange some things.

None are compatible really you can half follow a couple but to be a true believer or follower of any faith pretty much rules out the others.

No we cant sit on the fence. We must choose. Pagans dont have the real Lord Jesus and He is the way to eternal life. ALL TRUE CHRISTIAN CHURCHES teach the trinity If they dont theyre fakes...compatable ones who all believe in the trinity are Catholics, Methodist, Presby, Lutheran, Baptist etc
Baptist ignore good Friday
Lutherans do tons of responsive readings
Catholics add alot of rituals and sacraments that Jesus didnt command
Methodism is my favorite...
If you switch sundays with these Youre OK BUT YOU NEED THE TRINITY

Yes i do believe that its possible mainly with Eastern religions. I am Hindu and i also consider myself as Sikh. Hinduism, Buddhism and Sikhism are very compatible religions...they stress more on spirituality rather than my book correct, your book false things.

Generally not, other than maybe Bahai. Because most religions teach that those who do not follow that specific religion and branch are sinners, you would always be conflicted.

I have always thought that Islam, Judaism, and Chritianity are all compatible. They are all founded on similar principles and, unless they are pulled to the extremes, all share similar ceremonies, holidays, and beliefs.

All religions are set up to be mutually exclusive because they all say that they are the only one telling the truth.
