As long as there are still people who have not discovered the meaning of life, the question will continue to be asked. Most people would not really care to go on in this hard life if they thought it really had no meaning...so they search in the hopes they will find it and have the strength to go on. I believe that the Bible gives us the answer and that it is an awesome answer. I can face anything because I know that there is meaning and a purpose for my life, and I know what it is, so I can go forward living my life fully satisfied with the answer.

Also...many people may not like the answers that they have found and continue to ask the question thinking they will eventually find the one that pleases them. I think if we look to please God and not ourselves, the answer may be easier to accept.

Because none of the answers are right. The meaning of life is different for everyone anyway, so when someone tells you what's the meaning of their life, they haven't answered your question. The meaning of your life will be something you need to discover on your own. Smoking some grass might help.

Well, I have two answers for you. One, is that it is a meaningless question. Like asking someone to draw a square circle. It's meaningless. Why should there be a "meaning" to life? What would that signify?

The second answer is, anything. Do you need someone to tell you what the meaning of your life is? Why not decide for yourself. Make it what you want it to be. Then you will give it meaning.

because truly everyone must find their own, sometimes over and over. so there are lots of people looking, so someone is always asking. someone is always at that stage or point in their life that they are searching and asking. I was once there. but now i can answer.

There are many 'answers' and beliefs to life because we do not understand our purpose in life. Once you understand your purpose in life, you will stop asking.

it is because at every moment one is trying to make advancement, utitlizing his enviornment, milking it to try to get the proper result for which he aspires. Therefore, not only again and again, but at every moment he asks questions for his purpose, but especially we can see that he asks when he becomes frustrated completly, many or close to all of his plans foiled.

We're trained from birth to do what we're told and believe what we're told. Giving your life meaning is a do it yourself project that we're not trained for, so we're looking for someone to give us the answer and tell us what to do.
