I thought a toy represented some other form of reality. Obviously you cant play with a real duck so you are buying a toy duck. Obviously you cant see the real God so you see God in a physical form?
P.S. I neither like Islam nor Christianity. I am completely biased towards "Hinduism" and I am proud to admit it. But I know many of the Hinduism concepts have also been made up - its just a matter of time to separate the chaff from the wheat...

Not all Muslims are terrorists. As for parents to get gifts for their children, that is out of parental love. A Godly characteristic. Many Muslims still go by their own conscience. Our conscience is given to us & groomed by our parents. If Muslims see love in their families, they see the righteousness of love.
If they teach their children to hate others, then it is an evil gift. To teach own child to hate unbelievers & to do jihad for the cause of Islam / Allah (spread it globally) is evil.
Because terrorism is the way they intimidate other nations to appease Islam Muslims. They try to strike terror in the hearts of other nation's people to conform to their ways.
In America we have the first amendment that gives us religious freedom. Also separation of church & state gives us religious freedom. Religious freedom to believe in God how we feel is right.
When Islam is a state or governmental religion. That takes away the rights of every other religion. Also it takes a lot of womens rights away also.
The Christian God gives His children spiritual gifts. Every good & precious gift from heaven comes from the Father of lights.

I think you are out of your question lady. Muslims worship Allah/God, true. But it doesn't have to do with buying toys for their children. We, Muslim's are like any other people, we buy toys for our children to make them happy. And we worship God/Allah because we are God's creation. Do you believe in God? If you are, then will you not worship God. Muslims believe in angels, the prophets and the judgment day. We believe in peace, but we want others to respect us also and don't judge us. Because only God alone has the right to judge his creations including you. Don't be fooled by what you hear in the media or hear-says. Try to do some real studying before you throw questions like that. Because it only proves that you are ignorant of the reality.

I don't understand your question. If you are talking about worshipping idols, then those toys aren't worshipped obviously. And idol worship is against the Christian religion too, it's in the 10 Commandments. And yet we have some carvings of, let's say, Jesus on the Cross that are "worshipped".
Hypocracy is in all religions, so don't just single out Islam because you aim to find fault in it.

Well they are toys not idols. if they were idols they would be respected and kept in safe places, etc. but they are not. they are treated just like other toys. when they become worn out they are thrown out. THEY ARE NOT TREATED AS GODS. think b4 u ask a question.

They shouldn't. The Koran forbids the representation of physical forms.
