he lives in New York, and i live in California. we first met on a blind date set up by my mom and his grandma in 2002 and we have been best friends ever since, but i have loved him since the second i saw him. i have been giving him hints and i think he is getting them. when we talk on the phone, before we hang up we both say I love you. our usual amount of time talking on the phone is over 2 hours. how could i make this relationship work when i love him more than anyone else in the world???

I suggest that you just try to keep the long distance relationship, or make the big grand stand, someone renting a u-haul truck and move in with the other person.

sounds like you guys have a good thing going! except for the distance, of course. if you're going to be geographically closer anytime soon, then stick it out and just enjoy talking on the phone. if neither one of you has plans to move, then when things get more serious (like if you ever talk about marriage or anything), you'll both have to give some serious thought about doing something so that you can be together. anyway, long distance relationships can work. I waited for my boyfriend for almost 2 years while he was in the Army. We're still together almost 4 years later. dont' let anyone ruin your happiness if you guys enjoy your relationship. if faithfulness, trust, etc. becomes a problem, then you'll have to address those things as they come along and decide if you can make it work. in the meantime, be happy!

I think it's pretty evident you guys have a great friendship and could make a relationship work.

Now all you really need to do is be outright with your feelings for him. If he doesn't return them, you have lost nothing, as with the kind of friendship you have I'm sure you can overcome it and continue as friends.

If he loves you back, then I think she should be together no matter what. You only live once, and I don't think you should let this chance pass you by because of distance - so if possible, one of you should move so you can be together.

What you have sounds beautiful, I hope for something like that one day ^__^

I really hope it works out.

I think it's awesome that the both of you can be so far apart and stay in touch. That to me says there is a connection more then just friendship. If you two are as close as you make it sound... Then you owe to him and yourself to make a go of it. Best friends make the best lovers!!! I'm with a girl that started out as a drinking buddy. Man we have so much fun together! Now, I'm in the beginning stages of planning the perfect way to propose. It's the most awesome thing to be able to joke around and tease and know that your partner understands you're just having fun....GO FOR IT!!!

why dont u make urself scarce for per week or 2?? possibly the reason she would not admit that's that bec she is acquainted with you're continuously there and could be affected human being at the same time with her no be counted what she says or do (it feeds our ego to have a guy actually swooning).. more desirable proper be cool and supplies her area with the help of exhibiting her (although if it kills u!!) that its basically ok if she dont love u in view that there are different ladies who will like to have u... if this did not kick her into action or make her admit her love for you pronto then i imagine my expensive you're basically imagining that she love u in spite of everything... sturdy success...

always listen to ur heart & do only what is right if u really like him tell yes.there is saying "ALWAYS LOV THE PERSON WHO LOVS U BUT NOT THE PERSON WHOM U LOV".THINK ABT IT.u can also send him an e-mail regarding ur lov or messages through mobiles or write a lettr to him.remember true lov happens only once in life if i thnk he is ur true lov then go for it.but before that u have to know lots abt him abt his girlfriends & his character how much does he lovs u etc..remember he should lov u more than today tomorrow & more than that the day after .
hope so it works out .i am really sorry if i upset or hurt u by any wods.bye

be careful...best friend? That's not going very far. I would think u 2 know 2much about each other...that just takes away the excitement. If I were u I would keep flirting...find someone new and at least u hav someone to talk 2 about ur new relationship.

Well in my opinion I think that he loves you too but he doesn't want to tell you because he is afraid if you don't feel the same and this could brake up your friendship. But maybe he looks you only like a friend. And I'll give you an advice:There is only one way to find out...

if you too can talk that long then you two have something very special. why don't you come clean? tell him how you feel and see how it turns out? if he is getting the hints then its about time that one of you confesses. and whats the point of waiting? one day one of you got to say it.... go ahead and tell it girl i am sure he would say he loves you too...

Well if you have a job, not a career. I think you might want to move to NY. Same goes for him. Love is worth it.

P.S. Go Grandma!!!
