So much for sending my husband to the grocery store. He comes home with cube steaks and we both have no clue on how to cook them. I don't mind trying them, so if you got anything good tell me. I can't find anything I'd try on the websites I looked on. Thanks all!!

Well, you can fry just about anything. How about starting by putting the cubes under a slow grill for 20 minutes or so, resting on foil. After that, chop some onions, crush garlic and fry in a pan. Add the grilled cubes with some of your favorite spices - including chilli to taste.

If you like tomatoes add some as well. You could add a cupfull of water just to moisten things up a little.

Scramble 2 to 4 eggs in a large bowl. Season with grated parmegian or romano cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper to taste. Pre-heat a frying pan and add a generous amount of olive oil. When heated, dip the cube steaks in the egg batter and coat thoroughly. Fry on one side until batter is crispy and meat is nearly done, then gently turn to fry other side. Add a little oil if necessary. I prefer to leave them a little pink inside A tossed salad and a baked potato make a good combo.Add salt to your meat after cooking, since it tends to thin the batter if you add it beforehand.

Brush cube steaks with oil and press both sides of the steaks into the crumbs.
Heat remaining oil in a non-stick skillet, cook steaks over medium high heat, 3-4 minutes per side.

When we have them, we just fry them in the frying pan with a little salt and pepper. You just have to make sure you don't overcook them, because they can get dry. If you like your meat pink, it's best when it's got a little color. You could probably fry it with just about any seasoning. Perhaps try the montreal steak seasoning.

Good luck
