It is fairly unlikely that Russia would, a full scale invasion would need to be done by boat, and we'd see it coming from 3000 miles away. North Korea is not interested in invading the US, furthermore, they don't have the manpower. They are more interested in creating an atmosphere of fear in their region, and maybe launching ballistic missiles at us, which we are capable of deflecting.
Also, we have the United Nations now, and if Russia were to attack based on interests not covered in the U.N. charter, they would considered out of order and guilty of war crimes (much like the U.S. going into Iraq without U.N. approval [some people say we're guilty of war crimes]), and it is likely that the United Nations would band together to end the conflict.
But this scenario is not entirely unfeasable. The Project for the New American Century (a republican think tank) believes that China will invade Taiwan in the 21st century, and the U.S. will be force to intervene which could launch an all out war between China and the U.S. (with Japanese installations/U.S. bases suffering the bulk of the scourge of war) This would undoubtedly lead to great military casualties on both sides, and the theory of one or both countries using nuclear weapons on civilian cities has not been ruled out.
Another component of the US - China battle suggests that China's manipulation of trade agreements might play a factor. Even further down the line, it has been theorized that the two countries will be fored into a desperate confrontation due to lack of energy resources.
China's army is huge, and if they were to invade, the west coast would suffer unimaginable damage and casualties.
***
edit: although we spend more than any other country on our military, it is not the biggest, nor the strongest. China spends much less, but maintains a larger active duty force. How? Communism.

To Murf:
Yes, this quaqmire our military is stuck in Iraq is just scaring the crap out of people. But of course this quagmire is to be expected, considering the vast, incredibly strong military Iraq had. I mean their Air Force alone!
But seriously. Just because some of our troops are stuck in Iraq doesn't mean the good old US couldn't handle an attack on our own soil. I mean look at how well we handled 9/11. There were plans in place for such a thing and everything. Look how many lives were saved. Just because rescuers are still
dying from the air they breathed in at ground zero does not mean we didn't handle it properly!
And look at how well we dealt with the natural disasters like Katrina! I mean come on! What other country could have handled that so well!? Even though our National Guardsmen were in Iraq rather than where they were supposed to be, we still did a bang up job wouldnt you say?

Russia does not have enough power compared to us. So if they were to invade the United States (assuming that's "ours"), they would not be able to put up much of a fight.
However, North Korea is producing nuclear weapons. Since we aren't too sure how much they have and how successful they can be, it's hard to say who would prevail. I believe that as long as we don't piss N. Korea off, we should be okay.

Are you asking if North Korea or Russia are likely to invade us? Probably not.
Are you asking if we are planning on invading North Korea or Russia? North Korean is asking for it. Selling atomic weapons and atomic technology to terrorists and Islamic states is unacceptable behavior. I doubt if we are planning to attack Russia. They at least pretend to be civilized. North Korea has no such pretenses.

Unless your Mexico or Canada there is no navy big enough to invade our country. A foreign navy would need a large amphibious force no such force exist today outside of NATO.

It is extremely doubtful, however a good strategist would expect the unexpected and have a contingency plan for just such an event.
Having seen the national circle jerk that took place on 9/11, I would be inclined to believe that just such a plan, is not in place!

In order for these countries to take on America, they'd have to cross the sea, which would never happen. Our Navy would crush any other nations Navy, our air force would take care behind that. The attack would be on the foreign countries' soil.

Not very. The North Koreans lack the ability to transport the large number of troops that it would require, and the Russian military although large enough, has no current plans to do so.

lets basically watch as China blew there A$$es off. Whats your aspect? when you're attempting to attraction to a parallel to the concern it would want to be more desirable like; "How we (united states) might want to have answered if Russia invaded South Korea"? enable me make it straightforward for you lefties. pretend the U. S. is Georgia and Mexico is Russia (militarily it will be more desirable like that when Obama is President yet pretend for now). pretend there are 1000's of 1000's of Mexican voters in Texas (do not want to pretend it is authentic). There are numerous thousand Russian voters in South Ossetia. Now pretend Mexico is mad because Texas replaced into once area of their empire (honestly it replaced into). a lifeless ringer for South Ossetia replaced into once pert of the former Soviet Union. Now pretend Mexico needed Texas to adhere to Mexican rules, subculture, language and customs besides as shuttle freely back and forth by the international border between Texas and Mexico (honestly it is likewise authentic). it is resembling the concern between Russia and the South Ossetia province of Georgia. Now pretend that Mexico needed Texas back and needed the U. S. President bumped off and a Mexican sympathizer put in because the recent US President (honestly this can be authentic besides). So now enable us invision Texans who're autonomous minded (as Texans are) favor to shop Texas as area of the U. S. and conflict the Mexicans and finally get help from the U. S. authorities (Obama might want to easily enable Mexico have Texas so that you may want to pretend truly not straightforward). This has been the situation between Russia and Georgia for the previous 365 days or 2. Now assume Mexico keen to take the very reality the U. S. authorities despatched help to Texas as an act of conflict so as that they invade the U. S. and now might want to be in Colorado and says they're preventing yet tanks have basically entered Kansas. it is resembling the position the conflict is in the present day. Now pretend Mexico is caution Canada no longer to become in contact or they're next. it is how Russia is coping with all the Balkans and previous states of the former u.s.. Now pretend England is threatening Mexico with the help of begging the UN to become in contact. That fantastically a lot explains the area the U. S. is taking area in contained in the Russian-Georgian conflict. Now it is a proof even a liberal democrat might want to understand.

You're more likely to win the lottery. No wait, your chances of winning the lottery are WAY better than the chances of ANY country conducting a military invasion of the US.
