Because penguins can't write?
Seriously, because men have faith in God, and God reveals himself to them, and what he reveals, they write in order to spread the word, as they are so inspired and instructed.

There are three written my women in the Bible, Eshter, Ruth, and Naomi. Women have a standard set of rules God would like us to live by, I don't think we should preach at the pulpit, but we have a purpose just like men. Men are supposed to lead, be the head of the home as Christ is the head of the church, for the most part, alot of men don't do that, but a praying wife can witness to a non witnessing husband.

As far as I know, yes. Women were property when the books were written--and not valued property. Women were not permitted to speak in public to a crowd and even if they tried, no one would take her seriously because they believed that women weren't capable of knowing such things. Further, it wasn't until the 20th Century, that women were consistently expected to read and write. Therefore, even if a woman were literate and able to write a book of the bible, most people would not believe it coming from her. The message would not have gotten out.

Yes these books were written by Men/Women but we are actually asking is the real basis of the stractured manuscripts are they just men made or just a figment of the writters imagination. In my opinion traditions of rituals wether oral or written has a big influence in these writtings. (pagan or churched based)

All religious books were written by men, but God authored the Bible.
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

The books were written by those in the experience. And history is always written by the victor.

Do mean as opposed to monkeys or lions - or - do you mean as opposed to females.
I believe that ancient writings were written by males, more recent such as Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddie, or the books by Ellen White for the 7th Day Adventist Church.

The only religious book that itself claims to be the word of God is Quran, the Holy Book of Muslims. And to support its claim, it challenged all the Arabs of that time to produce a single verse that is similiar to Quranic elouquance. And guess what, they were not able to do that.
