People accept you at the valuation you put on yourself, so never sell yourself short.

Live everyday like it could be your last, so make everything you do and say to love ones come from the heart. My mother said this to me a very long time ago.

Always take "The High Road" no matter what prank has been pulled on you, how deceptive or mean someone is to you look the other way shows you have more pride than to stoop that low.

if you are angry at someone about something ... and you want to write it or tell them in person ... WAIT 24 HOURS before you do anything.

chances are ... when you calm down and have that 24 hours to ponder the situation, you may change your mind about what you want to say and/or how you say it.

if you still feel the same ...then send it / say it.

this has saved me MANY relationships.

Old Chinese Proverb: "Never yawn with hot rice in mouth." (Unless you actually want to burn the back of your throat...)

Okay, seriously, the most useful advice (or at least most accurate-- I think I would have figured it out on my own eventually) I've ever received was from my mother: "If you want something done right, do it yourself." People are such IDIOTS sometimes! (No offense to all of you guys, of course...)

A close friend of mine advised me: "If you want to make the world a better place, you must first make a better you".

Fix the internal before you try to fix the external.

Hey! Welcome back. I saw the idiots at Yahoo answers had suspended you. They appear to have a bunch of juvenile delinquients doing censoring who don't know the difference between sensible and senseless! :)

A wise friend once said to me, "God is still God no matter what happens or how you feel."

Another time a coworker told me, "All you can do is all you can do."

Both of these have helped me more than I can say.
