Mark 9:

.....But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us."

23" 'If you can'?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for him who believes."

24Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!"

Psalm 33:22
May your unfailing love rest upon us, O LORD, even AS WE PUT our hope in you.

Praise God for his patience!!!

I thought love was only true in fairy tales
Meant for someone else but not for me.
Love was out to get me
That's the way it seemed.
Disappointment haunted all my dreams.

Then I saw her face, now I'm a believer
Not a trace of doubt in my mind.
I'm in love, I'm a believer!
I couldn't leave her if I tried.

I thought love was more or less a given thing,
Seems the more I gave the less I got.
What's the use in tryin'?
All you get is pain.
When I needed sunshine I got rain.

Then I saw her face, now I'm a believer
Not a trace of doubt in my mind.
I'm in love, I'm a believer!
I couldn't leave her if I tried

in a way yes, but beng an unbeliever, as refered to the passages you have included with your question, it's knowledge they are seeking, for without the word, they would not know what to beilieve.

Just as, before Jesus, there was no belief in Christianity, for he had not come down and given us his words or his actions as an example for which to believe in him.

Though this is only my opinion, as yours may differ.

Great question.

Yes; before my dad got saved in 1984, he believed in God but he wasn't Christian although he was raised as one (being born in a Christian family DOESN'T make you a Christian any more than being born in a McDs makes you a Big Mac).
