I have the same problem, only mine acts up under stress and when it's about to rain. I wear a tight wristbrace for the next couple of days and take a painkiller every ten hours and it usually goes away.

(Painkiller - take your regular dosage, but don't take it every four hours.)

And when you get older it will get worse as arthritis creeps in.Them's the breaks!
