The Christian Fish is the symbol that was used when Christianity was barred and you could be executed for believing that Christ was God's son. People would draw a line in dirt with their foot when they were talking to another person and if that person was Christian, they would finish drawing the fish. That way each knew that the other was Christian. So, no I don't think the fish should or ever will be updated.

No, because this represents an important symbol of the earliest times of Christianity, during Roman persecutions.
I often use any kind of fish to represent Christ, tho. That's because we may face persecution again.
