Start by checking out their Community Services site at http://http://www.mccslejeune.com/

Other information can be found on the camp's main site, http://http://www.lejeune.usmc.mil/mcb/units.asp

Have a great trip!

OK the troops are usually dropped off at either Onslow beach, or the port at Morehead City(which is no where near Camp Lejeune.) I would suggest you contact the base' information office and they can direct you to where you need to go to get your information. The information office can also help you with getting on base, but you should be able to get on base with your military ID. Just check and get it in writing so that you can take it with you.

Good luck, and have fun!

Does his unit have a family support group? I would start with calling them.
If you cant find them, try the base Information, or Public Relations, they should be able to point you in the right direction.

All Marine units have family support groups. Contact yours. She will have the exact information on time of arrival, local airports, bus stations, etc. She may also be able to help you arrange lodging and transportation.

when you do go make sure you have your military id for you and the 17 month old as this will speed up the process. if you dont have it youll have to go all the drama of getting a visitors pass. not fun to begin with. less fun with a kid.
