I payed off 90% of my old debt ecept my student loa. my old credit card activity on my credit report even updated itself to good standing after i paid off the collection agencie. however my credit score is still. I am trying to get my score to atleast 600 or so.

it takes time. you have to maintain a good standing in order for it to go up. you might want to look into tips to help you increase it.

My credit score increased 25 points, 60 days after paying off several credit cards.

one of the most important indicator the rating agencies use, is how SOON you pay, rather than what percentage.

so if, say, you owe 10'000 including a 100 note, and you pay 9'500 of the 10'000 but leave the note unpaid for months, you'll probably have a worse credit rating than if you pay the 100 note immediately, and pay "only" 9'400 on the 10'000 loan.

Plus, very often the small loans will be credit loans for purchases, carrying obscene interest rates, so you'll be better of paying those sooner anyway.

my credit score went up 36 points in about 45 days, just from disuputing item on line with the 3 credit beareaus. My sister is a loan officer and she said peoples credit scores are constantly changing

There are many factors involved in calculating your credit score.
Although you may have paid down your debt late payments and deliquencies from the past may be dragging down your score among other factors.
