my dealership is trying to charge me for repairs on a part that's covered under both my thirty-day warranty and my extended warranty. the extended warranty has a $100 deductable, while the thirty day warranty has no deductable. they're saying that my extended warranty is in effect. but here's the thing, according to them, my thirty-day warranty wasn't cancelled, and is still in effect. what's up? do i have any legal recourse here? or am i stuck paying the $100? please supply sources and citations if you've got them. thanks in advance.

i was able to bully and threaten them into covering me with the thirty-day, which has no deductable. all i ended up having to pay for was half of the tow truck, which is fine. thankyou for your help.

normally the 30 day warranties on used cars are 50%/50% if this is the case, you are probabally getting off cheaper with the $100. Also is it a new problem or one that the car had when you bought it? If it was an existing problem, you should have notified them ASAP

First of all....is your 30 day warranty in writting???

If not you do not have a choice but to use the extended warranty. If it is in writting they have to honor it...At my dealership we give a 30 day warranty on ALL safety related items....if a client chooses to take an extended waranty than we still cover the first 30 days.

normally 30 day warranties are very limited and normally only on the power train(engine-tranny-and rear/front wheel drive)....just need to have more information to better answer your question...check out the limited warranty explanation and maybe you might just be on the better of paying the $100....work your salesman(hopefully a man) and with that nice looking face maybe he can get it waived or maybe split it with you....good luck!!
