I broke my back when I was 11 and I'm now 24. I have minor scoliosis and I'm I'm pretty sure it can't be treated once you stop growing. they can create like a body mast for you to wear which supports your back and helps to straighten it, although I am unsure of how effective it will be at that age. the best thing would be to see a spinal specialist. I would imagine it depends on the severity of the spinal cord. hope this has been helpful

Oh it can be treated but the treatment may be worse than the ailment. Children are checked for scoliosis in schools now; it is that common. If you are 40 and just now finding out how bad can it be? I am not being flippant. Is it causing you pain?
