They use different ingredients. For example in the US we use a lot of corn syurp for flavoring, but in Mexico they use cane sugar so it will taste different.

Yes, there's a definite formula for Coca Cola. I'm not sure why it tastes different all over the world, but I can make a few guesses. Maybe the syrup is being watered down too much or not enough. Maybe the water being used has flavor in it from local minerals and such. Even if the water being used has no flavor, the water in the icecubes is likely just plain tap water.

It probably has to do with the water used in making it. Water will have different mineral composition, etc. in different places. Even sugar will taste different depending on where it's grown.
