Iran is developing nuclear weapons, violating the Nonproliferation treaty it once signed, in contravention with the UN who seeks to inspect it, and against the wishes of the rest of the world.

Remember, Iran is a country run by radical Islamists, who invaded sovereign US territory (our embassy), who support terrorism, who fought a war to try to control all the Arabian oil, who oppress its peoples and imprison protesters, and who have called for the eradication of Israel (and, presumably, all the Jews therein).

This is not the kind of people you want to have nukes. Because once Jerusalem, Baghdad, London or NYC is a smoking radioactive hole, it is too late.

Once Iran has demonstrated it has nukes and they work, they will need to be taken out, immediately, massively.

And all those deaths can be properly blamed on the Islamists there who took this suicidal path.

Yes I do feel that Iran is a threat. Recently, their president (whose name I'm not going to try and spell) gave a speech in which he called for the world to "bow down to the Iranian power" and that if the world does not do this, Iran will make us bow down. Any country or ideology which has such radical views and beliefs needs to be taken seriously. It's too bad so many other countries and people think that Iran can be negotiated with.

I don't think we're goint to war with them anytime soon, but I do see them using their nuclear techonolgy and the weapons they buy from Russia and China to strike out at the West in the next 20 years.

I think iran has the potential to be a serious threat and to a degree they are. I dont think that war is nessesary with iran but if we continue on a collision course i would suspect conflict will occur at some point.

Iran represents a threat to US interests in the middle east, and a base for anti American terror groups. The Us should try and cause an internal change in Iran, so the policy of threatening Iran might be a mistake . since it rallies the Iranians around their extremist leaders

Iran is a threat because they believe that starting a nuclear war with the West will bring their Mahdi back.

Definitely serious threat...sadly, the US Armed Forces are no longer like in 1991.

A B-2 wings loaded with B-83 nuclear weapons should resolve the problem.

Of course they are a threat, they have nuclear technology. They have ideology that says, attack the USA, it is evil, even though the Koran says to not kill in the first half, the second says Jihad is good. And with contradictions like that, in an organized religion, it means war.

I do. They are not a direct threat to America but indirectly they are a HUGE threat right now even without nukes. They support, fund and train terrorist who attack American interests and America citizens. They forment hatred and violence against America and our Allies. If they had a nuke I truly shudder to think what might happen.

To the US? I don't think they are a serious threat yet. But to Europe and the Middle east, oh hell yes they are.
