stop trying so hard to impress and you will be doing the very thing you want ive been with my misses now for over 25 yrs and we stopped trying to impress each other yrs ago we have never stopped loving each other in all that time and we are still like a couple of courting teenagers when we are alone together

If you have known her for that long then you must know her likes and dislikes...........do something above and beyond to capture her attention and so she will know you are interested in impressing her.
