Years ago (circa 1987-1991 I think) Yoplait (I think) had a yogurt that had some sort of grain-type food already mixed into the yogurt. It seemed sort of like wheatberry or something like that. It way way predated the yogurts with granola mix ins packaged with the yogurt. I'm looking for the name/line of the yogurt and want to find out what those grains were. This is NOT the same line as the ones with granola on the top; the grains were premixed into the yogurt, and it was NOT granola.

I DO remember that! it was excellent, too & you are right, it was
the wheatberry. Unfortunately, I can't remember any specific name for the product - just how good it was. They also had fruit mixed in, as well - so it was fruity & crunchy as well. As you've said - way ahead of their time . . .

I remember this too! I had COMPLETELY forgotten about it until I read your question. I'm pretty sure it was wheat berries, but I don't remember the product name. You can buy wheat berries in a natural-foods store or well-stocked supermarket, so it you liked that product, you might buy some wheat berries, cook them and stir them in. In fact it sounds so good I might just try it myself. Thanks for the "blast from the past"!
