Cast iron at a very high heat (your vent needs to be on there will be smoke) put a little olive oil on the steak itself along with salt and pepper or grill seasoning, place in the skillet and DON'T move it until it it ready to turn. About four minutes on each side then let it rest before cutting.

Half a stick of butter in skillet. Marinate the t-bone for 30 minutes to an hour with italian dressing or dale's steak sauce in the fridge. after the butter has melted then cook each side til the doneness you like.

I use butter. If you want throw some onions and mushrooms in with it. Wait til they get semi tender and throw you steak in. Cook about 4 to 5 mins (depending on thickness and rareness) on each side and serve.

No. The best way is on a barbecue grill or in the broiler.

Your going to ruin your steak. It will be too tough and chewy. Broil it or place it on a grill.

Maybe you could do it like a tenderloin in the oven.
Just be sure to kill all the parasites in it!
