i love malisya so much so i read about petronas twin towers so this is the answer
its important to know the number of users of this service and where ppl attend to go (some floors have foot heavier than others) this affect the decision how many floors dose the elevator serves
its also important to choose the proper location :
mostly its build near the center Of the building because engineers make use of the shaft as a shear wall to resist earth quakes which is important to be located near the center for best performance of the walls

Some of the factors are is if the structure at the particular location able to support the elevator. How the air vent, water pipes and electrical lines are placed to avoid intereference with it.
