Ahh. the eternal question :-)
Most men believe that they can build up a niceness fund by lavishing niceness on a girl for a couple of weeks, then have a few weeks rest from all that mushy stuff. Unfortunately, this is wrong! Girls don't need a lot, but a little every day. Surprise her say, twice a week by buying her something she likes (in my case, a bar of chocolate for example) Creep up behind her, give her a huge hug and tell her you love her so much! Little things matter a heck of a lot more. The more small surprises she gets, the better. And it absolutely makes me melt if I see something I want, can't quite afford it, and he sneaks in to buy it me when I'm not looking ;-)

Always be there for her, buy her flowers, don't cheat. Listen to everything she says, even if you don't like it. Don't be afraid to show her some affection in public and that she is the only one for you.

um... NEVER, EVER do anything to hurt her? be there fo rher when she needs you the most and try to be there for her even when her girl friends aren't...
