I'm not sure about the effects on girls, but I used to wear one with pheromones & I know my b/f would go nuts every time I wore it!!
He would keep sniffing me, holding me close so he could inhale my fragrance - & well, then, you get the picture. Right now I wear a fragrance called Caesars Woman - get it from Caesars Palace casinos - when I wear it men will actually stop me on the street & ask me what it is! My b/f goes nuts - & he's not the only man to have that reaction around me, either, when I'm wearing it. So I do believe in the power of "smell"!! (& I use it, too!) My ex-husband smelled good - I mean, all I had to do was get close & my heart would pound, he smelled so good! he never wore cologne, it was just his own odor - so pheromones are very important!! He smelled "right" to me . . .

They barely work. Almost every other aspect of attraction is more important. If you are unattractive pheromones will do almost nothing. If you put a dress on a dog, it is still a dog in a dress.
I tested some chemicals that are supposed to be pheromones on myself to see my reaction. When I used them I would become slightly more agressive. The effect was similar to drinking a cup of coffee. Pheromones definately have a physiological effect but their psychological effect is much less definate. Every person has different software so their reactions will be different.
There are two different types of pheromones. One type is closely related to hormones. A person with high levels of testosterone is more healthy and fertile than a person with low levels. Most legit pheromone products use this type of pheromone.
The second type of pheromone is based on your own personal imunochemistry. It shows what diseases you are immune and that you are not related to your target. Evolution has shown that people who seek mates that are not genetically similar have a greater chance at survival. Chemists have not been able to bottle this yet. hoax... The pheramones work on animals with better olefactory senses than us... Such as cats/dogs and things like that.
