Actually,I think, if Jesus(God's Word made into a man)-( New Testament John 1:1) walked in person on the earth today he might approve of the use of these bracelets.
They are reminders to think about and follow the example of the life He lead; to be guided by God. In the Old Testament of the Bible, Moses gave direction to the Isrealites to put on their foreheads, their hands, and on the doorways of their homes, reminders of God's laws and his ways (Ten Commandments-DeuteronomyCapter 5 & Where to where them-Deut. 6:8).
The bracelets do not prevent people from making wrong choices. Nor do they answer the question they ask. God's Holy Spirit can lead an humble, teachable spirit into right behavior. The bracelet may, however, give pause to a rash word or deed. In that way, I think, they may benefit the wearer and if that is the case, then also those people around them.
I think you're right that He wouldn't sell it; He offers his Holy Spirit to us as a free reminder, often through a conscious thought or subconscious thought-feeling. The people whose job it is to make and send and retail the bracelets, however, do need to earn money to provide for their needs and their families. Many people do give these bracelets out free to others.
I have never worn one of these bracelets but have seen them on others and been reminded for myself to heed my own actions; my actions being the ones that I am responsible for. My brother believes, I think, from my discussion with him about them, like you do; that because they don't stop people from all wrongs, people, especially Christians, should not wear them as they are therfore worthless.

I totally agree with you on that, and I'm a Christian!

This is not a good way for us to share our faith. I don't like it when people wear all the Christian symbols and all that. I think anyone, whatever religion, shouldn't be so 'in your face'. I do believe in sharing my faith, but if it's one on one (I mean when I'm not preaching in church or whatever), it's best to have normal conversations and get to know someone, and if they're interested in hearing stuff about your faith, then tell them. If not, be respectful.

come on instead of looking at it that way . look it as a way of chrstians witnessing about JESUS. that is what he instructed us to do . did you ever stop and think to what the money is going to it could be helping christians in the missionary fields of the world and getting the gospel to people who need it and helping those right here in america to come to CHRIST as their savior

Why not,

It is a reminder that we should live his perfect example.

The money raised goes to some really great causes.

I have no problem with that!

Peace!
