Im taking meds for it. how long do colds last for? The reason im asking is because im do to get my wisdom teeth taken out on wednsday and i dont want to be coughing while trying to heal! Ouch!

Contact your dentist...S/he'd know. My instinct would say no...just healing from wisdom teeth extraction is like...well, you get the picture. Why complicate things?!

I would say that if you stay in bed and drink plenty of liquids like OJ<-----very good. in about 48hours you should be Ok and if not maybe your coughing is linked to something else, so monitor your tempt and if your not better after a week, go see the doctor and maybe he can presribe you some meds as far as the tooth, explain your situation to the oral surgeon and they will work around your condition. Start taking Airborne immediately and use the nasal spray that cuts the cold time in half. You should be fine by next Wednesday.

Eat more Big Macs.

drink plenty off juicey drinks orange and blackcurrent colds can last up for as long as they want could be 2weeks or more just need to stay in rest all best.
