It is possible just like humans. Not very common though. "Here hermaphrodite kitty kitty...."

It's possible (like humans), but very rare.

Here's a cute true story for you! I was at a cat show a couple years ago & they were judging a Ragdoll that was supposed to be female. The cat belonged to a long-time Ragdoll breeder. The judge all of a sudden exclaimed "I don't know how to judge this cat!" Then turned it around for the audience to see some VERY distinct testicles! Roars of laughter pealed through the show hall.!

Now the breeder claimed the cat had come "in season" just the night before (more chuckles from us). My mind is thinking "Oh yeah - must be tough when undesended testicles come down at this age". (This usually happens VERY early in a kitten's life.)

Anyway, unless that breeder was trying to pass off a small male as a female, she sure looked very foolish!!!! LOL!

Its rare but it does exist, it's called a hermaphrodite.
