I really need to see if anyone has a suggestion or can help me out. I am married to a Canadian and we can be together because Im a U.S Citizen and he is a Canadian Citizen. So for the past 4 years we havent really been together I can't be there in canada and he can't come to USA for a long time. I wanted to get the forms ready so I could get my papers but it cost $586, which I don't have. And in a month after I submitt those pappers I have to pay 1567, so does anyone have any advice. I can't be like this anymore and if i go over there again they aren't going to let me in. My husband has been in the hospital and has a heart murmur and i dont want to be away from him during htis time. Please give me some advice. Thank you Doris

can u loan from family or friend? if not, can you secure a loan from lending institutions & getting someone as a guarantor? or borrow against the equity of your parent's property? do u have an auntie somewhere that can help? are u fit, u can raise fund by walk or cycle from US home to canada to see your husband & advertised that on news current affair for appeal. off course u need to get the money advance before u can start the walk.

You can go to the American Counsel, or the U.S.Immeragration, and tell them about your husband in the hospital, it will be good to get a letter from your husband doctor, to see if you can get a visa, to stay for 6 months or so on to help your husband to recuperate. Get your husband to also write a letter, If it does not work on the U.S.A. side then try it on the Canadian side. If nothing else works, go to you Senator or state Representative, where you live. If nothing else works, take out a loan, and get your papers done,

You need to get a second job or ask your family to help you pull funds together to help you move closer to your husband. If you have been married for 4 years you could have been saving the money needed for one to become citizen of the US or Canada. Start saving every penny possible so that you can be there for your husband in his time of need.
