1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup soy sauce

if you don't want to make the marinade on your own...try Yoshida marinade which can be found in most grocery stores. It coats the meat fully and tastes grreat!

Grate two or more cloves of garlic (More!), sqeeze half a lemon, add black pepper, salt and a dash of cayanne, (or use season all) and a dollop of oil. Prick meat with a short sharp knife first before marianading. Bake or grill after about an hour's soak. delicious!

one that i use all the time that everyone loves is to use the same amount of red wine vinegar and then olive and veggie oil (half of each to equal the amount of vinegar)...then i put some (okay alot) italian seasoning and a tiny bit of garlic powder..let that sit a few hours and then put it on the bbq...mmmmm so good :)
