We know that a large majority of homosexuals are Atheist, and the majority of Atheist are liberal. So what about the Goths. Are they generally Wiccan of Atheist?

Homosexuality and "goth" lifestyles aren't really connected to religion, and you can't make that kind of generality about a group as large as homosexuals (and most I know are religious). Someone's sexual preference is biological, while religious preference is more of a conscious choice (to a degree, or at least it should be a free choice). Gothic culture is more centered around music, clothing and appearance than it is about religion, and is generally a more fluid, and religiously rebellious, group.

How do we know that most homosexuals are atheists? I know I've never heard of anything like that. Why do you even relate goths, homosexuals and atheists? I can tell you from personal experience that religion and politics aren't big topics of conversation at most goth clubs/get togethers. And why do they have to be only wiccan or atheist? There are dozens of other religions in the world...I personally know people who consider themselves goth who are muslim, buddhist, pagan....one even worships the aesir (the norse pantheon). Trying to label people according to your own very narrow point of view just makes you look ignorant.

Most Goths who claim to be Wiccan are wannabes and are only doing it to rebel against their parents and the mainstream. They usually care mostly about the power involved (or that they think is involved) and spell casting. I don't consider them to be *REAL* Wiccans. Although I'm sure there are some out there who are. These are the 'Wiccans' that give REAL witches a bad rep.

I don't think Goth culture has a direct connection with religion. Like anyone, goths are free to choose what they want to believe.

Even Goth itself doesn't have an exact definition. Usually anything macabre can be referred as "gothic". However, you can see muslim goths in the wonderful land of Turkey..

So, it's up to them, i guess.

Goths aren't one or the other they tend to be a mix of most religions. Most Wiccans I know are Pagans and most Pagans I know are Goths. But there are many who aren't.
So in answer to you question no I don't think so.

Ignorance is not something to be proud of. You've just made a bunch of wildly unsupported claims, at least two of which are IMO way off the mark (most homosexuals, like everyone else, belong to a religion for example).

Goths are people. They have a wide variety of beliefs. I've known a fair number and all I can say for sure is that I haven't met any who are Fundamentalists.

Thanks God.

Goths come from all walks of life. I know some who are Wiccan, Chrisitan, Baptist, Satanist, Atheist and even some that claim to be vampires...so, the easiest answer I can give they are generally themselves.

Depends what you mean by gothic.

The Pentagram though, thats wiccan. The whole dark scene, can be both. I mean, ive seen kids who love Jesus, yet they're gothic.

Now going back to the 1400's, 1300's. that was true gothic. Pointed arches is the main and easiest identifiable characteristic.

Not so much Wiccan, but yeah, definitely pagan. Although I know a lot of Christian goths...and Athiest goths...but no Jewish goths. I think that goths are just "not Jewish". :)

I don't think its any of those things. Some that dress in that way, may just like dressing in that style. I don't think they stand for wiccan or atheist, just like the self-expression.
But...let's see what they have to say in your answer/question, I'm interested to see what the responses are now. (good question)
