my recruiter sent a list to me regarding the different jobs and their encentives. and i have found throughout the list that there are several job numbers (on the list) that are not on army.com. I have also been looking at what about.com has and have found that the jobs and descriptions are limited. can someone give me the location of ALL the possible jobs that the Army has to offer, including job number and description? I was also wondering, if I were to find a job that offers a 4000 enlistment bonus, when and how will I get it? I have heard that they will give half of it after completion of AIT and the rest in small sums over a period of time. can someone please help?

You can't find a complete list of MOS' because they are constantly changing. There is alot of reclassifications going on right now. Designations change all the time. Go back to your recruiter and ask for the current complete list. He's your best source. Online won't be able to keep up with the updates. The recruiter can also tell you about your bonus, if you qualify. Usually you get part to start and the rest at a later date. That way, you can't cut and run, so to speak. Without researching, I'd say you get half after AIT and either payments throughout your contract or the other half at the end of your contract. Whatever you do, get it all in writing.

Good luck and thanks for serving!!

You are correct on the bonus payment - you get half after you complete AIT, and the rest split up into annual payments for the rest of your enlistment. So if you enlist for 4 years, you get half up front, one third of the rest every year until your contract is up.

The link below has a description of all jobs. If you can't find the MOS, you might have to hunt for it in all the other links to find because the MOS number may have been changed.

That is how your bonus works. The reason you may not find some of the MOS numbers is because they change ever so often.
