If you were born among the ancient Greeks, you would fall to every vice of their false religion. You are just like these people from the past who worshiped false idols. You're Christian because everyone else is.

That's why it's called "faith" and not "science." Anyone who claims to have a religion that is rock solid on the facts is even more delusional, like the people who try to read the bible literally or as a good history book.

You either accept a faith or you don't. If you don't you go somewhere else- and that's why there are so many versions of each religion- none of which have yet to find the one true faith- becasue that doesn't exist.

Oh, and I'm not a Christian or even a little religious- but your question made me think you don't fundamentally understand what a faith is about. It's about beleiving without knowing all the facts. (yes, that is kind of a scary idea at times, I'll admit that)>

Uh, not everyone.

I was considered a Christian but after being in the Church of Christ, conservative, we left because they didn't like the fact that my husband and I had been married, divorced and remarried. It seems they know how to interpret the Bible better that even God.
So we turned out backs on organized religion of any kind. I no longer worship the Bible or the Jesus story, just can't see any proof he was a god, and yet my heart is still right with whatever power put me here. I have a peace that I have never ever had with weekly church and the hypocrites that frequent them.

Does anyone understand this question ?
The Bible can and is proven Historically, Archaeologically, and Prophetically. DO you know what the odds are of just one prophecy coming true? And there have been hundreds. Do some research. I challenge you to research the prophecy concerning the city of tyre (thats in the middle east). Not the new one they built a few miles from the old city ...but the old one..It is till this day just has the Bible describes it

Yes, Christians is a religion just like any other religion. Many people study their religion a different way. My mother-in-law is christian and she does a lot of things that puts me to wonder why they do that. But again that is her religion. I ask myself sometimes "I could go to church, but which one" I never picked one yet The only thing you should remember is - there is only one God and only you can help him help you. If you are confused don't worry God will somehow fix your problem, but it has to come from your heart first. Believe in the creator not the impersonator. Peace out!!!!!

It is called faith and walking with the Lord. It takes a little faith and a lot of prayers. The Lord does exist and God is real. Just believing is half the battle!!! Some people need to be like everyone else, but for us that stand with Christ only we are unique!!

no i am a christian because the holy spirit through his love drew me to JESUS to have me realize that He died on the cross for me to take away my sin and that one day i will be in heaven with him and the FATHER and that while here on earth that despite all aroungd me HE is in control and has a plan for each one of our lives if we accept JESUS as our savior we are adopted children of GOD . not everyone else is a christian in fact i think its one of the most misused words to describe people who are good but that does not make them a christian

If you believe that a human being has all the answers then that definitely shows you trust man more than yourself which is suspicious because people like yourself worship themselves.
